[Test Log for DC Nation - Ivy Applicant]

It was four in the morning. No one was normally up at this hour. Well, Ivy could be, but that was Ivy. Harley.... only slept when she managed to run out of energy or when something knocked her out.

She tip-toed into Ivy's side of the room, "Sneak... sneak... sneak... sneak....!"

And then, "Pammmmmmy? Pammy! PammyPammyPammyPammyPammyPammy!"

"Great!" Harley said jumping up so she was standing on the bed and then dive-hugging Pammy.

"There's this greenhouse that has this stuff that we can steal and I think it's man eating plants! And I know you like that kind of thing so I thought we'd go give it a looksie, you know? Or we can go and do the kiss of obey us now because we're awesome on some rich guy and have him buy us stuff!"

At five in the morning.

Again. Blank stare. Raised eyebrows. Somewhat incredulous expression. Sometimes the extremes to which Harley didn't think things through were mind-boggling. She didn't point out that the only thing they could hope to buy at 5 A.M. was a rather unattractive ( no doubt ) hooker hanging around the red light district.

The idea of a location in Gotham possessing man eating plants was intriguing. If Harley was actually on the money with the assertion, Ivy would have to give her a reward of some kind.. perhaps a biscuit and a pat on the head?

"We'll do the greenhouse tonight," she instructed as she moved to her closet. "We can find some dope to screw with tomorrow." Or later today, technically.

"When you have man eating plants is that a 'Salad Eating Man' or a 'Man Eating Salad'?" Harley asked, the idea stuck in her brain and whirling back and forth like the spin cycle on a dishwasher.

"I've always wondered that, and do you mean tomorrow tomorrow or today tomorrow?" She wasn't even two steps behind her bestest friend.

"What you have, Harl, is divine retribution," Ivy answered, mustering up a remarkable amount of zeal for someone who'd been half-asleep a minute earlier. She supposed the destruction of mankind by her babies could do that to her.

She removed her nightshirt and pulled on her green bodysuit.

"Uh-huh. Salad eating man," she decided. God, it was taking her FOREVER. This is why she always had her costume on or in hand. And grease paint ready, she was applying makeup.

"And it's so early that no one else will be around so it will just be us and the plants! They have tons of plants, you'll like it!" She was always trying to find things like this for Pammy.

Ivy emerged, finally dressed and ready to go. Hands moved to sit on the curves of her hips as she eyed Harley silently for a second. Then whatever she was thinking seemed to pass, and she made her way to the door.

"I'm sure it'll be great, Harley girl," the redhead answered, sounding as warm as possible.. in this case a slightly warm refrigerator. Then she looked at the blonde over her shoulder. As an afterthought, "How exactly did you find out about this place?"

"I fell through the glass window skylight on the roof of the building," she said brightly. So, by accident. "Not today though, so there's not going to be any cops there or anything, but they had these labs with this big writhing plants of doom in 'em! And some rare plants and stuff."

An eyebrow rose as Ivy opened the door and stepped out of her greenhouse/home. It was an odd combination, but it worked for her. And the Bat had somewhat slacked off on her since the incident during No Man's Land. She'd kept to herself in Robinson Park.. mostly. This, however, would clearly have him sniffing around.

"Writhing plants of doom?" Ivy repeated, sounding curious. The moniker seemed fairly accurate in describing most of her own creations. If someone else in the city was experimenting in her field, she wanted to know about it. "We'll just have to see about that."
