[Test Log for DC Nation - Ivy Applicant]
Three A.M.
That wonderful time of day where nothing was on but Infomercials. Flipping through channels at this time did nothing for her.
They were totally on the run.
On the run was what they (totally) were.
She padded turned off the TV and padded towards the Hotel's bed and flopped down next to Ivy.
"Pammmmmmmmmmmmmmy. I'm bored!"

"While you may be bored lily, I must attend to these. They need me now. They're hungry.." She smiled wickedly and tucked a piece of Harley's yellow hair behind her ear. "And as we know, hunger deserves a bit more attention than boredom." Ivy allowed a quiet rumble of laughter to bounce against the hollow walls of the hotel.
She returned her attention to the small garden of toxic plants (http://www.caf.wvu.edu/~forage/library/poisonous/page7.htm) she was growing in a small planter in the corner.

Helping Red with her plants only got her yelled at. She sighed, and pulled her knees up to her chin, head resting there, "Can't I help? I promise it won't be like last time..."
Even as boring as tending the plants got, at least it was something.
She had a PhD... she was sure she could cut... no, Ivy didn't like it when you cut the plants, feed the plants. Sometimes you could feed the plants people, which was always fun.
Like Little Shop of Horrors.

With an exhale she looked at Harley.
"Johnson grass is a tall, coarse, grass with stout rhizomes. It grows in dense clumps or nearly solid stands and can reach 8 feet, that's 2.4 meters, in height." She smiled at the girl, making sure she was keeping up with her. "Leaves are smooth, 6-20 inches, that's about 15.2-50.8 cm long, and have a white midvein. Stems are pink to rusty red near the base. Panicles are large, loosely branched, purplish, and hairy. Spikelets occur in pairs or threes and each has a conspicuous awn. Seeds are reddish-brown and nearly 1/8 inch, that's 0.3 cm long." Ivy returned back to her plants. Her precious children. They were first in her mind right now.
"Johnson grass should be accurately identified before attempting any control measures. If identification of the species is in doubt, the plant's identity should be confirmed by a knowledgeable individual and/or by consulting appropriate books. Or by consulting me. Your dear friend who you trust. So trust me. I can't have you helping."
Ivy picked up a small bottle of water and began spraying the plants.
"These could kill you."

And this was one of those time when going home to Mistah J - who Pammers never ever called by name - would likely just get her punched. Oh how woe was Harl!
"Do those one's eat people?"
It was always fun when they ate people.

Sometimes she stole plants for Ivy. Or helped Ivy steal plants. It was always fun.
"Can I watch? I wanna watch." There weren't many things as cool as a guy being eaten by plants.
The whole dropping in Acid thing came close. And one day, Harl would totally off someone with a piano.

"Don't you have clowns to go attend to, daisy?" Her tone was still light; she knew what happened to Harley if she raised her voice or became angry. She didn't want that. Not tonight, at least.

"All the time." She added. "He's such a whateveryoucalledhim, all the time, rose."

Sometimes he was great!
It was all perfect!
Right now... "He's just a schlemiel," nothing ever really sounded quite as insulting as Yiddish.

She didn't hear anything Harley said. Instead, she picked up a sprig of the Rosary Peas and examined it in the light.

"Shit." She leaned over, searching for the small red and black beans. Harley was right. They did look like lady bugs. "Stand back. They fell into the dirt and I'll have to pull them out carefully. Once these peas get in soil, they begin omitting their toxins." She looked at Harley very seriously.
"I don't want you being poisoned." That was true with these plants, but it was also true about clowns.

If anyone could do it, Pammy could.

"Darling, listen to me. I want to create these plants; these small babies to help us accomplish things. You want to steal diamonds and money and reek havok on Gotham? Than we need these poisons. We need these plants to be dangerous. I just don't want you touching them, yes?" She blinked, hoping Harley would understand. She turned back to the plants and adjusted the soil.
"What exactly is happening with you and your clown?" Ivy had a difficult time saying his name.

"Robbing any banks while you're away?" She asked with a bit of a zing. Ivy didn't try to hide her dislike of the man. "Let's just hope the Bat's out to stop him..."
